Applications in the aerospace, medical and computer industries have brought forth an increasing demand for closer tolerances and finer finishes in the manufacturing of carbide cutting tools. To address these needs, the Nano T is a complete filtration system that replaces the existing oil reservoir and pumps offered with the grinder. Oil is cleaned to One Micron and, with an integrated refrigerant system, the oil is temperature controlled to ±0.1°C. The filter elements are automatically cleaned rather than replaced.

To address applications involving magnetic materials or those with heavy stock removal, the Transor MSK Combo pre-filter offers a solution in a compact unit that works with all Transor Filter Systems. The MSK Combo is ideal for applications grinding magnetic stainless steel or HSS cutting tools. The MSK consists of a powerful magnetic separator and number of mesh socks that remove large particles prior to introduction to the Nano T providing the greatest amount of productivity and a minimum of maintenance and machine down time.
