The Nano-T is the newest development in Transor's line of One Micron filtration systems. The new product will produce oil filtered to One Micron absolute, continuously, even when the automated cleaning of the filter elements takes place. In addition, a specially designed refrigerant system will control the tempurature of the oil to ±0.2°C.
The Nano-T line is available for single or multiple machine set-ups. |

Transor Filter Expands Business In Asia
To meet the demands of an increasingly global market, Transor Filter USA has announced the appointment of Nanogrind as their sales agent in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. “Nanogrind knows the Southeastern Asian market well and specializes in servicing the cutting tool industry with machine tools like the Transor,” stated Irv Kaage, President of Transor Filter. “Their knowledge of the market has already paid dividends.”
Additionally, Transor Filter has announced plans to open its own office outside of Shanghai. Dr. Zhongyu “Jonathan” Guo, current Director of Transor Filter China, has over the last 2 years, received orders from some of the largest carbide cutting tool manufacturers in China,” stated Kaage. . “The largest being a central system that will service over 40 grinders. We expect strong growth in China as manufacturers understand the benefits of One Micron filtration and the Transor System.”

Transor Announces Exhibition At IMTS 2008
Chicago, IL - September 2008
To address an increasing demand for closer tolerances in the manufacturing of carbide cutting tools, Transor Filter USA will announce the introduction of the Nano T line of filtration systems at IMTS 2008.
The Nano T is the newest development in Transor’s line of One Micron filtration systems. The new product will produce oil filtered to One Micron absolute, continuously, even when the automated cleaning of the filter elements takes place. In addition, a specially designed refrigerant system will control the temperature of the oil
to +_ .2 degrees C.
The Nano T line is available for single or multiple machine set-ups.

Irv Kaage Attends Leadership Function
Chicago, IL -
Irv Kaage, Transor Filter’s President, recently attended a function at Chicago’s Hilton and Towers. Keynote speaker was Senator John McCain who discussed America’s on-going leadership role in a global community.
Senator McCain was celebrating the thirty-fifth anniversary of his release from POW camp in Hanoi Viet Nam. He quipped that as a prisoner, POWs referred to their interment as the Hanoi Hilton and now here he was back at a Hilton to celebrate his release date.
Mr. Kaage had an opportunity to meet Senator McCain and offer his best wishes for his years of service to this country.

TRANSOR Sponsors USCTI 20th Anniversary
Transor Filter recently attended the 20th anniversary of the USCTI. (US Cutting Tool Institute.)
This group of US manufacturers of cutting tools met in Washington DC to discuss industry issues and to listen to trade and commerce experts before touring the US Capitol. With nearly 30 companies represented, the overall tone was very positive with many companies reporting record sales in 2007 and a good start for 2008.
Transor was one of several proud sponsors of the event that culminated with a black tie dinner.

Transor Attends Bush Luncheon
Chicago IL - January 2006
The Economic Club of Chicago, a private club consisting of CEOs of companies in Chicagoland, held a special luncheon for President Bush at the Chicago Hilton & Towers. President Bush spoke on the state of the US economy before a crowd of nearly 2,000 guests. Transor Filter President, Irv Kaage was in attendance to hear the President talk about the important role of small business in the reduction of the unemployment rate and the creation of new jobs in the country. Bush also encouraged businesses to compete worldwide and attempt to enter new, foreign markets. This was especially applicable to Transor, who, as a small company, has placed units in over 30 countries.

Transor Visits New ANCA Facility
In December of 2004 Anca moved into a new facility located in Wixom, Michigan. According to Russell Riddiford, VP, the move reflects their expanding business and will allow Anca to better serve their customers. “We invite our customers to visit our new facility where they can participate in test cuts and demos that reflect the latest technology we offer,” explained Riddiford. “Our machines will be connected to a centralized Transor System so the latest in filtration technology can also be illustrated,” Riddifford stated. Rollomatic Installs Central System
Rollomatic, a leading manufacturer of CNC grinders has recently opened their new 17,000 sq. ft. facility in Mundelein, IL. Transor is pleased to announce the installation of a centralized filtration system that will service the Rollomatic machines used for demonstration and test cuts.
Eric Schwarzenbach, president of Rollomatic USA explained, "We looked to Transor because many of our customers already use the Transor System and speak highly of it. Also, our home office in Switzerland installed a centralized Transor in 2002. We are establishing a state-of-the-art facility and we want to utilize oil filtered to One Micron to help us maximize the performance of our equipment. Transor customized the design of the filter to fit our needs and it is consistent with the cleanliness and modern design of our facility."

Transor Filter Receives ISO Certification
Elk Grove Village, ILTransor Filter USA has received ISO 9001:2000 certification. The year long process ensures the quality of Transor products and the compliance enables them to readily supply OEMs and users who require ISO vendors. Transor enlisted the help of International Management Systems conducting the audit in November of 2002.
"We are pleased to see that in reviewing the required procedure and documentation that we were well on our way to compliance before even beginning the actual program" stated Transor President, Irvin Kaage. "The entire Transor staff played a vital role", he continued, "especially Tom Wagner, Assembly Manager and Jonathan Guo, Project Engineer. They made sure that all staff members understood the requirements and insured that they were met."
Explaining Transor's decision to obtain certification, Kaage went on to mention that he felt any company competing in today's global economy needs to recognize that quality and consistency are paramount to success. "We weren't forced into adhering to ISO principals", he concluded. "We believe in them and are convinced that it will make Transor stronger in the future." ^top
